Infographic / brochure about participation in the LUMC biobank

(educational, for low literate, infographic, Leiden, medical)

For the LUMC Biobank Organization I designed and illustrated an infographic / small brochure to inform patients, and in particular low-literate adults, about participation in the LUMC biobank.

Patients eligible to participate in the biobank previously only received a patient information form (PIF), consisting of several pages of text. The texts of this PIF can be very complex, especially for people with low literacy.

It has therefore been decided to supplement the existing PIF with an illustrated brochure in which the basic information about participating in a biobank is presented in an accessible manner. Short, simple texts, supplemented with supporting illustrations in an attractive, clear design.
